LECG Creates Technology Platform for Ohio’s Veterans Bonus Program
A program by the State of Ohio to award that State’s veterans of the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan or Iraq conflicts with a cash bonus has become reality through the development and implementation of a customized technology developed by LECG (NASDAQ:XPRT), the global business advisory services firm.
The platform created by LECG utilizes the firm’s proprietary BenefiTRACSM web-based benefits management system. This highly configurable system will facilitate the processing of an expected 200,000 claims by Ohio veterans.
In addition to delivering the BenefiTRACSM application utilized for the Ohio Veterans Bonus Program the LECG team completed a full build-out including hardware and telecommunications for the inbound call center.

Speaking on behalf of the Department of Veterans Services, Director Bill Hartnett complemented the work of the project team indicating his surprise that the processing operation was up and running in less than nine months from the voter approval of the bond issue.
LECG’s BenefiTRACSM technology delivers a total benefits management solutions useful in a wide array of applications useful in both the public and private sectors. Advanced features of the technology include prebuilt functions with allow for rapid application development; Adobe PDF integration for document management and mail-merge processes; accounts payable integration with many commercial accounting systems; on-demand reporting, role-based security, paperless processing and status-driven workflow process.
