Layne Christensen CEO Rene Robichaud Resigns, David Brown Named Interim Head

(RTTNews) - Layne Christensen Co (LAYN) said Wednesday that Rene Robichaud has resigned as the company's president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. Robichaud is being temporarily replaced by David Brown, in addition to the current role as non-executive chairman of the board, the company said.

The board will engage an executive search firm to identify Robichaud's successor.

Brown has been a director of Layne since 2003, and has served as non-executive chairman of the board since 2005.

The Woodlands, Texas-based Layne Christensen provides water management, construction, and drilling services.
