Lauletta Named President of Radiate Sports
BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Sports marketing executive Steve Lauletta has been named to the newly created position of president of The Radiate Group's global sports marketing division, Radiate Sports, it was announced today by Steve Groth, president of The Radiate Group.
"Several Radiate agencies, including GMR Marketing, have worked with Steve for many years, so we know he is the right leader to direct Radiate Sports' continued growth in the global marketplace," Groth said. "We are pleased he has brought his expertise and leadership experience to The Radiate Group, Radiate Sports and their respective clients."
Lauletta is responsible for Radiate Sports' day-to-day activity, including leading new sports business development and enhancing Radiate's current clients' sports marketing initiatives.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for me and I am pleased to be the first president of Radiate Sports," Lauletta said. "I am looking forward to introducing Radiate's powerful marketing network to new clients and assisting existing ones to fully leverage their participation in sports marketing."
Lauletta joins Radiate Sports after a successful 11-year career at Miller Brewing Company. He has served in a variety of marketing leadership positions with Miller, most recently as director of sports and event marketing. Lauletta was responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of Miller's sports and event marketing. He oversaw the negotiation and management of Miller's sports and entertainment sponsorships, including all major professional sports leagues, as well as music venues and celebrity endorsements. Lauletta began his sports marketing career working for sports agencies in the areas of client management, event production, promotion and athlete representation.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Lauletta was a member of the 2002 and 2003 Sports Business Journal's 40 Under 40 class and was named to the 2002 Milwaukee Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list. He is based in Radiate's Charlotte offices.
