LaserCard Corporation Appoints A.J. ''Bert'' Moyer as New Board Me

    MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2005--LaserCard Corporation (Nasdaq:LCRD) today announced the appointment of Mr. A.J. "Bert" Moyer to the company's board of directors.

    Most recently, Mr. Moyer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of QAD Inc., a publicly held software company, and subsequently served as a consultant to QAD. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer for Western Digital Corporation, Allergen, Inc., Coldwell Banker Corporation, and National Semiconductor Corporation.
    Mr. Moyer currently serves on the boards of QAD, Inc., Collectors' Universe, Inc., CalAmp Corp. and Virco Mfg. Corporation.
