Las Vegas Sands Corp. Q3 Earnings Climb 8%

(RTTNews) - Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) announced a profit for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $572.20 million, or $0.72 per share. This was higher than $529.81 million, or $0.66 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.60 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.2% to $3.18 billion. This was up from $3.08 billion last year.
