Lam Research Corporation Supports Global Tsunami Relief Efforts; Lam W

    FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2005--Lam Research Corporation (Nasdaq:LRCX), Fremont, Calif., today announced it has established a matching gift program for employees who wish to support the global relief efforts set up to assist victims of last month's devastating tsunami. The Company will match employee contributions up to $150,000, and will make an additional $100,000 charitable contribution for a corporate gift of up to $250,000.
