L Brands Inc. Profit Drops 26% In Q3

(RTTNews) - L Brands Inc. (LB) announced earnings for third quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings fell to $121.64 million, or $0.42 per share. This was lower than $164.03 million, or $0.55 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.40 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.0% to $2.58 billion. This was up from $2.48 billion last year.
