Kurt S. Helland appointed as new EVP at EVRY

(Oslo, 18 March 2014) EVRY has appointed Kurt S. Helland (51) as the new Executive Vice President - EVRY Norway Regions. Kurt S. Helland has many years' experience from senior positions in the IT industry.

"Kurt S. Helland knows EVRY well and has extensive knowledge of the regional IT market. He will spearhead a strong team that is committed to strengthening EVRY's position in the regions", comments Terje Mjøs, CEO of EVRY.

Kurt S. Helland has a bachelor's degree from the University of Stavanger / BI Norwegian Business School. He held a number of senior management positions in banking and finance before becoming the CEO of Allianse in 2000. Kurt S. Helland played a key role in the restructuring of Allianse and its subsequent stock exchange listing. The Allianse group was merged into ErgoGroup in 2006, and Kurt S. Helland was responsible for the integration process and led the continued development of a powerful and profitable regional operation. From 2009 to 2013, Kurt S. Helland was CEO of Viju, an expanding global visual communications company. Over the last six months, he has been working as a strategic consultant for a number of technology companies.

Kurt S. Helland will take up his appointment on 1 April 2014, and will be a member of EVRY's executive management team. Morten Søgård, who is currently the Acting EVP - EVRY Norway Regions, will return to his position as EVP - Corporate Development from the same date.
