Kratos Defense & Security Gets $10 Mln Critical Infrastructure Security Contract

(RTTNews) - Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. (KTOS), National Security Solutions provider, announced that its Public Safety & Security Solutions or PSS Division has recently received a $10 million critical infrastructure security award.

The contract award, received from a large mass transit authority in the United States, calls for Kratos PSS to design, engineer, deploy and integrate into a command and control infrastructure a state of the art security and surveillance system.

The award will include deployment of security and surveillance elements on certain mobile assets. This recent contract award represents additional funding and a scope increase on a previously announced contract award.

The company said that due to the nature of the contract award, customer related and other considerations, no additional information is being provided.
