Kevin Gillespie Named to New Post in CTX Mortgage Company

DALLAS, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Kevin Gillespie has been named Executive Vice President - National Centex Homes Production of CTX Mortgage Company, a subsidiary of Centex Corporation . In this newly created role, he will oversee all CTX Mortgage branch operations supporting Centex Homes.

In his most recent role, Kevin served as Regional Executive Vice President of the West Retail Region, a position he has held since 2001. Gillespie will report directly to Tim Bartosh, President and Chief Executive Officer of CTX Mortgage.

"I am pleased Kevin has accepted this significant post within our organization," Bartosh said. "He embodies the leadership characteristics necessary to guide our continued development efforts with our sister company, Centex Homes, and I know Kevin will prove to be an invaluable asset in this new role."

Prior to joining the Centex family, Gillespie enjoyed an extensive mortgage-banking career that spanned 18 years and included positions as head of national production with Weyerhaeuser, First Nationwide Bank and First Gibraltar Savings.

CTX Mortgage Company was founded in 1973 and is now one of the nation's largest non-bank mortgage originators, providing mortgage financing both for buyers of Centex Homes and for other CTX customers in more than 200 offices nationwide.

Established in 1950 in Dallas, Texas, Centex Corporation is today the nation's premier company in building and related services: home building, home services, financial services and construction services. With revenues exceeding $10 billion, Centex is a Fortune 250 company traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "CTX". Centex consistently ranks among "America's Most Admired Companies" in its industry, according to FORTUNE magazine.
