Kaman Closes Acquisition Of Parker Distributor Western Fluid Components

(RTTNews) - Kaman Corp. (KAMN) said Tuesday that its Distribution Segment (Kaman) has completed the acquisition of Western Fluid Components Inc. The financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.

With locations in Tacoma, Kirkland, Everett and Bellingham, Western is one of the largest fluid connector distributors in the state of Washington and a full-line distributor for Parker Hannifin's Fluid Connector Group. The acquisition of Western further strengthens Kaman's fluid power position in the Northwest. Founded in 1975, Western, with annual sales of about $11 million, also provides hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, custom kits and value-added services through its four Parker Store retail locations.

Kaman Corp., based in Bloomfield, Connecticut, conducts business in the aerospace and industrial distribution markets.
