K+S Says PotashCorp Sticks To Proposed Price Of EUR 41/shr For Company

(RTTNews) - Potash maker K+S Group (SDFG) said Friday that Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (POT, POT.TO) again sent an unsolicited letter to the Board of Executive Directors and the Supervisory Board of K+S Aktiengesellschaft. PotashCorp sticks to the proposed price of 41 euros per share for K+S Group.

On 2nd July, K+S Group had said its Board of Executive Directors and the Supervisory Board have decided to reject the unsolicited proposal of Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan to acquire all outstanding shares of K+S Aktiengesellschaft for 41 euros per share. K+S Group had said the proposed transaction did not reflect the fundamental value of K+S and was not in the best interest of the company.
