John Bianchi named Executive Vice President, National Sales for loanDepot's Retail Channel

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., Jan. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Anthony Hsieh, Founder and CEO of loanDepot, announced that John Bianchi has been named to the organization's leadership team as EVP, National Sales. Bianchi has almost 30 years of experience leading nationally-recognized sales organizations and in inspiring high performance customer-centric sales cultures. He is widely considered to be a transformative leader and one who understands the needs of top and emerging producers.

John Bianchi joins loanDepot as Executive Vice President, National Sales. In this role, he will work partner with executive leaders and teams across companies, channels and verticals to cultivate and enhance market presence, develop differentiated products and services and create market penetration strategies designed to fuel individual producer, channel and Company growth.

In addition to being a well-respected leader, Bianchi is also a top personal performer, having formerly been recognized as one of the top five mortgage originators in the country. Prior to joining loanDepot, Bianchi served as EVP, National Retail Lending for Caliber Home Loans, and prior to that, held sales leadership positions with Bank of America and Countrywide Home Loans.

"Our commitment to professional loan officers and the Retail Channel has never wavered," said Hsieh. "We believe in Distributed Retail and we want to grow this segment of our business. John's hire reconfirms this commitment and positions us to further invest in the tools, products and technology that today's Retail loan officer needs to win. John's experience and expertise allows us to further focus on creating a sales culture unlike any other in the industry."

"I'm thrilled to join the loanDepot team," Bianchi shared. "Anthony's vision for the Company and the channel is very exciting. I know how committed loanDepot is to Retail and how committed they are to increasing volume and velocity, which means the Company is very well positioned to take advantage of the changes that are occurring in our industry and in consumer behavior. Coming from a background of personal production like I do, means that I know how important the right products, the right technology and the right operational processes are to loan officers and customers alike. I am very excited to partner with the sales organization and the ops, marketing and tech teams to create, deliver and execute a playbook unlike anything the industry has ever seen."

Bianchi will report to Chief Production Officer, Dan Hanson, and will partner with executive leaders and teams across companies, channels and verticals to cultivate and enhance market presence, develop differentiated products and services and create market penetration strategies designed to fuel individual producer, channel and Company growth. loanDepot's team of Divisional Executive Managers will report to Bianchi, giving him oversight responsibility for more than 1000 employees and 100,000 customers.

"loanDepot is the only company who, since 2013, has made very public statements that we are committed to two fundamental areas of construction," said Hsieh. "Number one is our own tech – build it ourselves -- which leads to speed, simplicity, ease and delight for our salesforce and our customers, and number two is that we are investing into professional loan officers. John shares this vision and helps accelerate our journey."

Bianchi earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of San Diego and, along with his wife Melissa, is the proud parent of 5 children.
