Jefferies Further Expands Leveraged Finance Group
In a further expansion of the firm’s Global Leveraged Finance Group, Jefferies announced today the addition of John B. McCann as a Managing Director in Leveraged Finance Origination.

"John brings to our franchise both deep bank and bond expertise as well as strong leveraged finance relationships with numerous private equity firms.”
Robert L. Harteveldt, Global Head of Leveraged Finance at Jefferies, said, "Our clients will directly benefit from John's extensive experience in originating and structuring leveraged finance transactions. His strong relationships and his outstanding reputation will further enhance our leveraged finance footprint.”

Mr. McCann brings to Jefferies more than 14 years of leveraged finance experience. He joins the firm from HSBC, where for two years he was a Managing Director in the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance Group responsible for Financial Sponsors coverage. Prior to HSBC, Mr. McCann spent eight years in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, most recently as a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group focused on Financial Sponsor coverage. He received his MBA from the University of Virginia and his BA from Williams College.
