James Rochette Appointed Chief Financial Officer at Viadeo

With over 20 years of experience and an international pedigree, James Rochette has today joined the Viadeo (Paris:VIAD) team as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. He will also join the company’s Executive Committee, reporting directly to Viadeo CEO and co-founder Dan Serfaty.

In this new role, James’ key areas of focus will be to monitor the company’s financial, legal, information systems, and general services teams, to supervise all accounting, tax, and budgetary activities, and to take care of investor and analyst relations.

After graduating from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris and Geneva’s Institut Florimont, James began his career working as an International Financial Controller at Netonomy, Liberty Surf, Air Products, and Cyberis.

From 2002 to 2011, he worked in a number of roles at Infovista, starting out as their Corporate Finance Director before working as Director of Finance for the Americas and finally Group Reporting and FPA Director. Before joining Viadeo, James spent 4 years as Deputy Administrative & Financial Officer at Hubwoo, a global leader in cloud-based spend management and business process automation solutions.
