J & J Snack Foods Q3 Earnings Climb 10%

(RTTNews) - J & J Snack Foods (JJSF) reported earnings for its third quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $26.79 million, or $1.43 per share. This was higher than $24.46 million, or $1.30 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.37 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.3% to $277.98 million. This was down from $278.72 million last year.
