Itron Q4 Results Top Estimates; Guides Q1, FY25 Adj. EPS Well Above View; Stock Up 10%

(RTTNews) - Itron, Inc. (ITRI) reported Tuesday net income attributable to the company for the fourth quarter of $58.11 million or $1.26 per share, higher than $44.39 million or $0.96 per share in the prior-year quarter. Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $1.35 per share, compared to $1.23 per share last year.

Total revenues for the quarter increased 6 percent to $612.86 million from $577.17 million in the same quarter last year.

On average, analysts polled expected the company to report earnings of $1.05 per share on revenues of $604.17 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to the first quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings in a range of $1.25 to $1.35 per share on revenues between $610 million and $620 million.

Analysts are expecting earnings of $1.07 per share on revenues of $577.96 million for the quarter.

For fiscal 2025, the company projects adjusted earnings in a range of $5.20 to $5.60 per share on revenues between $2.4 billion and $2.5 billion. The Street is looking for earnings of $5.00 per share on revenues of $2.45 billion for the year.
