Itron Inc. Reveals 107% Rise In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Itron Inc. (ITRI) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $29.22 million, or $0.76 per share. This was up from $14.15 million, or $0.36 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.74 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 3.9% to $490.37 million. This was down from $510.10 million last year.
