IRSA Inversiones Y Representaciones Posts Full-year Profit

(RTTNews) - IRSA Inversiones y Representaciones S.A. (IRS), a real estate company based in Argentina, said full-year profit totaled 520.2 million Argentine pesos, compared to a loss of 786.5 million pesos last year. Earnings per share were 0.90 peso, compared to loss per share of 1.37 peso last year.

The company attributed the improvement to better operating results of the rental segments, higher sales of investment properties, as well as lower financial losses.

Revenues climbed to 3.403 billion pesos from 2.845 billion pesos last year due to better results in the rental segment and higher sales of investment properties.
