InventHelp Inventor Develops Comfort Accessory for a Nasal Cannula (CBA-3539)
PITTSBURGH, Dec. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "My husband is a cancer patient and requires supplemental oxygen 24 hours a day," said an inventor from Sumter, S.C. "The tubing irritates his ears and causes pain. I came up with this idea to manage the tubing so that he would be comfortable and pain-free."
She created a prototype for the HASSLE FREE COMFORT to hold oxygen tubing in place for the user. The unit prevents the tube from slipping during wear. It takes the pressure off the backs of the ears, which alleviates irritation and discomfort. Additionally, all of this makes wearing a nasal cannula pain-free.
