Intesa Sanpaolo Q3 Profit Plunges - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Italian lender Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. (IITSF.PK, ISNPY.PK) said it earned 218 million euros of net profit in the third quarter, down sharply from last year's 414 million euros, after accounting taxes of 264 million euros; charges for integration and exit incentives of 5.0 million euros; charges from purchase cost allocation of 72 million euros; and minority interests of 11 million euros.

Excluding the main non-recurring items, adjusted net income totaled 194 million euros in the recent quarter. Quarterly income before tax from continuing operations came in at 570 million euros.

For the latest quarter, net interest income slid 12.3% to 2.03 billion euros, from 2.32 billion euros reported a year back.
