InterVideo Announces Support for Newly Released DivX 6 Video Technology; Next Version of DivX Video Offers Higher Performance, Advanced Media Features

(NASDAQ: IVII), a leading provider of multimedia solutions to tier-one consumer electronics and PC manufacturers, today announced support for DivX(R) 6, the next version of the patent-pending digital video technology from DivXNetworks, Inc, across their product offerings.
    DivX 6 fundamentally enhances the digital video experience by enabling consumers to easily create and enjoy high-quality, interactive video files that can be played back on a wide range of devices, including DVD players, portable media players and other widely-used consumer electronics devices. In addition to offering significant improvements in compression, speed and visual quality, the release of DivX 6 introduces the new DivX Media Format, which enables users to create and enjoy a complete home entertainment experience with advanced, interactive features such as video menus, chapter points, multiple subtitles and alternate audio tracks.
