Intertek Polychemlab Approved as External Laboratory Partner to the BMW Group

Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, announces its approval as an external laboratory partner to the BMW Group for realignment of the BMW Group Standard 93016. The designation was granted to the Intertek facility in Geleen, the Netherlands.

Intertek’s participation in BMW’s renewal of materials validation enables raw-material manufacturers of Thermoplast materials to demonstrate compliance to the BMW Group Standard. The GS 93016 standard will be updated twice a year in the future and suppliers will benefit from leveraging Intertek’s resources and expertise in compliance testing for automotive materials.
