Intertek Expands Automotive Plastic Material Process Verification and Testing Programs

This new capability helps automotive companies adopt new lightweight materials, composites, and compounds while helping them meet compliance with the EC integrated approach to reduce CO₂ emissions. Intertek supports research and development of new materials by providing laboratory material processing, performance studies and certification programs.

The program has been developed for raw polymer material suppliers, compounders, tier suppliers and car manufacturers to respond on today’s fast developing automotive materials market.

In addition, the programs help confirm material performance, durability and manufacturing demands for automotive plastics and composites.
