Interpublic Group Of Companies Inc. Q4 Income Rises 13%

(RTTNews) - Interpublic Group Of Companies Inc. (IPG) released a profit for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $272.1 million, or $0.66 per share. This was up from $241.3 million, or $0.57 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.62 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.5% to $2.20 billion. This was down from $2.21 billion last year.
