Interface Inc. Q1 Income Rises 5%

(RTTNews) - Interface Inc. (TILE) released earnings for its first quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $12.89 million, or $0.20 per share. This was higher than $12.32 million, or $0.19 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.20 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 6.1% to $222.55 million. This was down from $236.90 million last year.
