Intelsat Appoints Stephen Spengler As Deputy CEO To Succeed CEO McGlade In April

(RTTNews) - Satellite services provider Intelsat S.A. (I) Thursday announced the promotion of its current President and Chief Commercial Officer Stephen Spengler as deputy chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Further, the company said its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David McGlade will be the executive chairman, effective April 1, 2015, when Spengler will become CEO. By next April McGlade would complete 10 year as CEO.

Spengler has been with Intelsat in various executive positions since 2003, including serving as executive vice president, Sales, Marketing and Strategy. He has nearly 30 years' experience in the satellite and telecommunications industry.
