Ingram Micro Names Paul Read COO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Wholesale technology distributor, Ingram Micro Inc.(IM), Thursday said it appointed Paul Read as president and chief operating officer, effective September 30. Read will be responsible for the worldwide IT distribution business and the associated logistics support organizations, with the IT distribution regional presidents reporting directly to him.

Read served Flextronics Inc. as chief financial officer and executive vice president, prior to joining Ingram. Before Flextronics, Read had worked in the United Kingdom with Allied Steel and Wire, STI Telecommunications and Associated British Foods.
