Informa 2015 Adj. Operating Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Informa PLC (INF.L, INFMF.PK) reported profit before tax of 219.7 million pounds for the 12 months to 31 December 2015, compared to a loss of 31.2 million pounds, previous year. Profit for the year was 171.4 million pounds compared to a loss of 52.4 million pounds. Profit per share was 26.4 pence compared to a loss of 8.6 pence.

Adjusted operating profit was 365.6 million pounds, up 9.5% from prior year, which is a 6.0% increase on a constant currency basis and 0.1% increase on an organic basis. Adjusted profit before tax increased to 339.7 million pounds from 309.6 million pounds, previous year. Adjusted earnings per share was 42.9 pence compared to 41.0 pence.

Revenue increased year-over-year to 1.21 billion pounds from 1.14 billion pounds, a year ago. Revenue grew by 5.2% on a constant currency basis and was up 1.0% on an organic basis.

The Group said the proposed final dividend for 2015 is 13.55 pence per share, representing a 5.0% increase. This will result in total dividends for the year of 20.1 pence per share.
