Independent Study Finds HouseValues Subscribers Earn Two-Thirds More Income Per Year Than Other Agents According to National Survey, More Money and Regular Source of New Business Cited as Top Reasons for Using Online Lead Generation Services
A new national survey has found that real estate professionals who use HouseValues (NASDAQ:SOLD) as an alternative to traditional marketing strategies earn an average of two-thirds more income than those who do not.
The survey, by independent marketing research firm AnalyticalOne LLC, revealed that HouseValues subscribers earned an average income of $87,200 in 2004, compared to $52,200 earned by the average agent, according to the National Association of Realtors' member profile.
The survey found that the typical agent who has used HouseValues for a year or more:
"This survey proves that real estate professionals nationwide are learning that a steady stream of leads, coupled with a proven marketing system to cultivate those relationships, is a critical part of their financial success," said HouseValues Chief Executive Officer Ian Morris. AnalyticalOne LLC also surveyed HouseValues customers on the benefits of using online lead generation and lead management services. The following five factors emerged as "very important" in respondents' decisions to use these services:

-- Improved communications with prospects
-- The ability to more efficiently serve clients and manage
