Immersion Names Anne Marie Peters Vice President, Legal

Immersion Corporation (NASDAQ:IMMR), the leader in developing and licensing touch feedback technology (http://www.immersion.com/corporate/), today announced that Anne Marie "Amie” Peters has been named vice president, legal.

Prior to joining Immersion, Peters was a corporate partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP, a full-service law firm. During her more than nine years with the firm, she engaged in a general corporate and transactional practice, representing companies in contract and business negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, public securities offerings, compliance with periodic reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, private debt and equity placements and other corporate matters. Prior to Morrison & Foerster, Peters served as diagnostic manufacturing supervisor for Chiron Corporation. She holds several degrees from the University of California (UC): a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley; an MBA from UC Davis Graduate School of Management; and a JD degree from UC Davis School of Law.
