ROSWELL, Ga., Sept. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Imerys Carbonates North America announces a price increase for its calcium carbonate products. The increase is effective as of December 1, 2017 and is subject to individual contract provisions. Prices will increase an average of 5%, depending upon product grade, packaging and geographic region. 

The price increase supports the escalating transport, operation and regulatory costs associated to changing market needs.  Imerys continues to invest in higher quality products, operational safety and customer-driven innovation, and maintains reliability and operational excellence initiatives to battle inflationary pressures.
