IGI Labs Gets Formal FDA Approval For Site Transfer Of Econazole Nitrate

(RTTNews) - IGI Laboratories Inc. (IG), a New Jersey based generic topical pharmaceutical company, announced Friday that it has received formal approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or FDA of its supplemental filing for the site transfer of econazole nitrate cream 1%, to the company's manufacturing facility in Buena, NJ.

IGI had purchased econazole nitrate cream 1% from Prasco, LLC in February of 2013.

Separately, IGI Laboratories announced it has submitted its fifth abbreviated new drug application or ANDA in 2013 to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which brings the Company's total number of ANDA submissions to thirteen.
