Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. "From supporting electricity systems in the Midwestern U.S. to helping lower power consumption in data centers, Hitachi and its customers are on the leading edge of using information technology to promote positive social, economic and educational change.” Each year, members of the Chairmen's Committee, a group of 100 Chairman/CEOs of global technology, nominate individuals and organizations around the world whose visionary applications of information technology promote positive social and economic progress. "Hitachi Data Systems works very closely with its customers to deliver the technology innovations that allow them to overcome their business challenges and ultimately deliver broader benefits to their local communities,” said Brenda Peffer, vice president of Global Marketing at Hitachi Data Systems.
