Hydrogenics Q4 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Hydrogenics Corp. (HYGS, HYG.TO) Friday reported fourth-quarter loss of $3.10 million or $0.34 per share, narrower than $3.39 million or $0.40 per share in the previous year. The company has revised its prior-year results.

The Mississauga, Canada-based manufacturer of hydrogen generation and hydrogen-based power modules said its quarterly revenues increased 12% to $11.00 million from $9.82 million in the preceding year, reflecting higher sales in the firm's Power Systems business unit.

Hydrogenics stated that it secured $14.3 million of orders for renewable energy storage, industrial gas and power system applications during the quarter, resulting in an order backlog of $57.0 million as of December 31, 2013.
