HCA Holdings Sees Q3 Results Above Street

(RTTNews) - HCA Holdings Inc. (HCA) Wednesday said it expects third-quarter earnings of about $1.16 per share and revenues of about $9.22 billion.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters currently estimate earnings of $0.98 per share on revenues of $9.04 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

HCA had reported rearnings of $0.79 per share on revenues of $8.456 billion in the third quarter last year.

The company also lifted its full year outlook. The company now expects adjusted earnings of $4.40 to $4.60 per share and revenues of $36.50 billion to $37.00 billion.

Analysts currently estimate earnings of $1.10 per share on revenues of $9.35 billion for the year.

Initially, HCA expected full-year adjusted earnings of $4.00 to $4.25 per share on revenues of $36.00 billion to $36.50 billion.
