Halliburton Company Announces 5157043% Increase In Q3 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Halliburton Company (HAL) reported a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $361 billion, or $0.42 per share. This was higher than $7 million, or $0.01 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.37 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 42.0% to $5.44 billion. This was up from $3.83 billion last year.
