Group 1 Automotive Boosts Quarterly Cash Dividend

(RTTNews) - Group 1 Automotive, Inc. (GPI) said Thursday that its board of directors declared a cash dividend of $0.17 per share for the second quarter of 2013.

The dividend, which represents an increase of 6.3%, or $0.01 per share, from the first quarter of 2013, will be payable on September 16 to stockholders of record as of September 2.

Earl Hesterberg, Group 1's president and chief executive officer, said, "Based on Group 1's record-setting financial results, the board of directors is pleased to reward the company's shareholders with another dividend increase."
