Grandweld Shipyards Selects IFS Applications

IFS (http://www.ifsworld.com/) (STO:IFSA)(STO:IFSB), the global enterprise applications company, today announced that Grandweld Shipyards (http://www.grandweld.com/home/), a fully integrated shipyard providing shipbuilding, ship repair and engineering solutions, will implement IFS Applications™ to enhance operational efficiency, and increase business agility, transparency and uniformity of information.

Grandweld Shipyards will implement IFS Applications to create a single information system encompassing project-based manufacturing, project management, asset management, work order, scheduling, and document management, among others.

The initial phase of implementation will begin in September 2014 in the new headquarters in Dubai Maritime City and is expected to be completed by April 2015.
