This contract was awarded on behalf of Transport Canada, following a fair, open and transparent process. It will contribute to local economic development by sustaining 10 jobs at McNally Construction Inc., both in Saint John and Dartmouth, and bringing work for up to six local subcontractors and consultants.
This project will help ensure the safety of ferry passengers and minimize wear and tear to the vessel and berthing dock by reducing the force of docking vessels against the quay wall.
