Glaukos Q2 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - Glaukos Corp. (GKOS) reported a net loss of $31.9 million or $10.96 per share for the second quarter, compared to a net loss of $2.1 million or $0.90 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Po forma loss per share for the second quarter, which gives effect to the automatic conversion of the company's preferred stock into common stock as if it had occurred as of the beginning of the quarter, was $1.30 per share.

Net sales for the second quarter rose 60% to $17.8 million from $11.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $1.16 per share on revenue of $15.85 million for the second quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
