GetThere Partner Program Adds 60 Corporate Agency Resellers; Regional Travel Agencies Driving Adoption of Industry-Leading Booking Engine

GetThere(R) announced that its Partner Program, launchedin January 2005, has already added 60 corporate travel agencies to theroster of Authorized Resellers of the world's leading corporate travelreservation technology. The majority of the new resellers are regionalagencies taking advantage of GetThere's customizable Web pages,marketing tools, and experienced customer support staff to implementmanaged online booking programs for hundreds of corporate clients.

The GetThere Partner Program offers agencies a customized Web sitewhich includes GetThere's proven, multi-GDS booking tool, used by morethan 3,000 companies worldwide. GetThere, in concert with the agency'sGDS, helps partner agencies develop online business strategies andprograms designed to generate cost savings for corporate clients.Partner agencies can take advantage of GetThere's adoption tools andbest practice standards, passed on from ten years of implementing bothbig and small corporations. GetThere also helps manage client Websites and provides support to maximize savings for both the customerand the agency.

GetThere refocused a number of its sales staff to promote the newPartner Program across North America. Two other regional agencies thatsigned on to the program are Garber Travel in New England and SanDiego-based Balboa Travel.
