GenCorp Names William Lau Vice President & Treasurer

SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Yasmin Seyal, senior vice president and CFO of GenCorp Inc. , announced today that William "Bill" Lau has been named vice president and treasurer.

"We are pleased to have someone of Bill's caliber join our organization," said Ms. Seyal. "He is an accomplished treasury and finance executive with over 25 years of experience. His extensive expertise in capital raising and liquidity management makes him an important asset to our finance team."

Mr. Lau was vice president, Finance and treasurer of Catellus Development Corporation (an industrial Real Estate Investment Trust), which was acquired in 2005 by ProLogis. Prior to Catellus, Mr. Lau served in various positions in syndicated finance and corporate treasury at Bank of America.

Mr. Lau received his B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and his M.B.A. in Finance from University of California, Los Angeles.
