Gecina finalizes the letting of 16,000 sq.m in Portes de la Défense

In 2013, Gecina (Paris:GFC) has finalized the letting of all the vacant space in the Portes de la Défense office building in Colombes (northern inner rim). Indeed, Shell (in December 2010, then December 2012) and Oracle (in December 2010) had vacated nearly 16,000 sq.m in total in this 42,400 sq.m asset.

Since 2011, Gecina has rolled out a strategy to let the space vacated in this way and this initiative was successfully completed in November 2013.

In this way, Oracle has taken up nearly 4,000 sq.m again, while leases have been signed with EDF (2,900 sq.m), Sequans Communication (2,000 sq.m), Primaphot (2,000 sq.m), Unisys (2,000 sq.m), Wrigley (1,000 sq.m) and Biogaran-Sofip (1,900 sq.m).

The Portes de la Défense building, which is HQE certified for operations, is now fully occupied.
