Fusion-io Q3 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - Fusion-io Inc. (FIO) reported a third-quarter net loss of $30.7 million or $0.29 per share, compared to a net loss of $20.0 million or $0.21 per share, previous year. Non-GAAP net loss was $10.5 million or $0.10 per share, for the quarter.

On average, 22 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss per share of $0.09 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue increased to $100.5 million from $87.7 million, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $96.70 million for the quarter.

For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014, the company expects its revenue to be in-line to slightly up sequentially.
