Ford Trucks Probed After Brake Complaints

(RTTNews) - F-150 pickup truck is one of the of the most popular truck in the U.S., but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has commenced an investigation after receiving complaints of sudden brake failures in some F-150s.

The agency said it will be investigating on about 420,000 2013-2014 full size F150s. NHTSA will complete its investigation before deciding whether a recall is necessary.

NHTSA said it received 33 complaints with some drivers reporting sudden and complete loss of braking. Four accidents were reported due to the problem, however no injuries occurred.
