For Collectors, LexisNexis Now Offers RecoverScore Through Accurint; Leading Technology Incorporates Robust Data To Rank Order Collectability

LexisNexis U.S., a leading provider of information andservices solutions, today announced the availability of theRecoverScore(R) solution for its collections customers. In thecollections industry, the RecoverScore solution has shown that thetop-10 percent of ranked accounts will typically generate 10-timesmore revenue compared to the bottom 10, and the top-50 percent ofscored accounts often produce 80 percent of total payments. TheRecoverScore solution uses advanced data mining and modelingtechniques to identify the most collectible accounts and rank orderthem.

The RecoverScore solution analyzes accounts based on debtcharacteristics, contact ability and liquidity. These are key factorsthat determine collection effectiveness and can help determine whatstrategies to deploy in working various accounts. Because the productis linked into the LexisNexis and Accurint(R) data repositories,clients save the time and expenses associated with obtaininginformation on their own from credit bureaus, skip-tracing servicesand other data vendors.

The LexisNexis RecoverScore solution has the capability to analyzedebt characteristics including type of debt, age of debt, last paymentand balance. Furthermore, the product searches liquiditycharacteristics including homeownership records, commercial propertiesand other assets, proximity of known relatives and other documentationcontaining personal records and information to create a rank orderingof accounts.

RecoverScore also provides separate rank orders and scores fordifferent types of account portfolios, such as bank card, utility ormedical expenses owed. Clients can easily devise collection strategiesbased on this specific data.
