Flowserve Products, Services, Experts to be Highlighted at ACHEMA 2015
DALLAS, June 12, 2015 - Flowserve Corporation (NYSE: FLS), a leading provider of flow control products and services for the global infrastructure markets, announced today the company will participate at ACHEMA 2015, June 15-19, in Frankfurt, Germany.
With two stands in Hall 8, at B63 and J62, attendees will have numerous opportunities to learn about the company's fluid motion and control products and services, as well as meet Flowserve product experts, sales personnel and leadership team members.
Stand B63 will showcase chemical process pumps and mechanical seal types and configurations. Stand J62 will present vacuum, compressor, membrane and liquid pumps and systems. Both stands will feature products and services from Flowserve SIHI®, including the new SIHI liquid ring compressor, an innovative design offering pressures up to 12 bar.

In addition to highlighting leading flow control products and services, three Flowserve industry experts will deliver presentations at the ACHEMA Congress, a prestigious, high-level lecture program with a global audience that facilitates the free exchange of ideas by leading researchers.
On June 16, Matt Moy, Senior Applications Engineer, will take a critical look at advanced designs that limit solids from entering the lubricating flow path of sealless pumps in his presentation, "Facilitating the Use of Sealless Pumps in Solids Laden Pumping Applications."
On June 18, Dr. Bill Newton, Strategic Marketing Manager for the chemical industry, will examine the promise of cellulose-based, second-generation biomass as an alternative to oil-based feedstocks in the production of a range of basic and specialty chemicals in his presentation, "The Growth of Industrial Biotechnology: Implications for Pump, Valve and Mechanical Seal Manufacturers."
On June 19, Joop van Dam, Engineering Supervisor, will address API Plan 53B systems and their uses in the chemical and petrochemical industries in his presentation, "Environmental Temperature Influences on Plan 53B Mechanical Seal Systems."
