FirstEnergy Corp. Reports 48% Increase In Q1 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - FirstEnergy Corp. (FE) reported earnings for its first quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $328 million, or $0.77 per share. This was higher than $222 million, or $0.53 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Revenue came in at $3.90 billion, equal to the mark posted in the same period last year.
