Fenstermaker's Chase Berard, P.E. Earns Professional Designation

LAFAYETTE, La., Dec. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ., a member of the Lafayette engineering team since January 2014, has earned the designation of Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana. Mr. Berard fulfilled the required 4 years of work experience under a licensed engineer and passed his P.E. exam to achieve this career milestone. A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Mr. Berard received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2013. During his time at Fenstermaker he has gained valuable experience in various areas of engineering.

Mr. Berard has worked with a wide variety of clients for civil and structural design projects, such as Iberia Parish Government, City of Carencro, LaDOTD, and Sasol Chemicals (USA), L.L.C. His primary responsibilities include roadway design, utility design, drainage design, structural design, water treatment plant design, lift station design, construction administration, and wastewater treatment plant design of various projects. He has experience using the software Revit, AutoTURN, MicroStation V8i, and Bentley InRoads.

Some of the more complex projects that Mr. Berard has assisted with have been the Hector Connoly Road Water Treatment Plant, Post Road Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Sludge Handling Facility for City of Carencro.
